Java Jolt

Java Jolt

I use coffee to wake up my day!   But today I had a jolt of java that was like a lightning bolt striking my soul.  My friend treated me to a cup of coffee at Sambalatte Torrefazione, in Summerln. But instead of the usual dark brew staring back at me from my cup,  I looked down into  a swirling rainbow of colors floating on a white foamy cloud. Who would have thought to put colors on creamy foam, float it over coffee and call it a “rainbow latte?’  I shook my head mesmerized by the ingenuity.

They say coffee is the “think drink.”  If someone could think of a ‘rainbow latte” what does that mean?  The rainbow colors swirled as I sipped this thought.   I don’t know if it was the caffeine taking effect or the leprechaun bouncing out of the rainbow, but I felt some “big magic” hit me.

It there were startling wonders like this right in front of me, I needed to stop sipping, and swirling around thinking about things.  I needed to come alive!  Be awake.  Yes, I needed to start decorating my life with delightful surprises and share them.

Java jolt, lighting bolt, rainbow swirls, this is how my blog began.

(Now, to find the pot of gold.)
